How a round plays

Deal the stockpiles face down and flip the top card of each. On your turn, draw back up to five, then play onto the center: stockpile cards first if you can, then your hand, then your own discard piles. End by laying one card on a discard pile. When a center pile reaches 12 it goes back into the draw deck.

About the Skip-Bo Classic Card Game

This is the deck we built our name on. Everyone gets a private stockpile, the middle of the table waits for four build piles, and the whole game asks one polite question over and over: what comes next? A 1 starts a pile, a 12 closes it, and our wild SKIP-BO cards slip into any gap you are stuck on. Kids pick it up by the second hand; grown-ups keep finding new ways to block each other.

Great game. Good cards.
My Grand kids taught me this game and I love it. Doesnt take much skill takes some luck of the draw. Cards and good quality also. I only wish the cards had a line under both 6 and the 9 because I forget which one has the line and which doesn't until I see them together.

A++ Skip-Bo for the WIN! A low stress game for the whole family!
This card game is addictive, even for people like me who hate card games but am a good sport about playing along. Who knew I would enjoy it? I have bought this game for family's with kids, for people going on road trips, and for people going camping. It is a low stakes game that induces conversation as you play. You can easily engage in storytelling, gossip, or discussing work as you progress the game. It is fun and satisfying to play.
