How a round plays

Level one: play from your stockpile and hand onto the shared piles, counting up to 10. Level two adds personal discard piles, which is where planning starts to matter and where older siblings stop winning every round.

About the Skip-Bo Junior Card Game

Junior is how we teach counting without anyone noticing a lesson happened. The numbers stop at 10, the cards are bright and full of animals, and the first level skips discard piles entirely so small hands only juggle a few choices. When a five-year-old starts blocking you on purpose, flip the rules over to level two.
